The idea, for Calvin United Presbyterian Church to have their own radio station, came about through the progressive thinking and imagination of several talented members of our congregation. It was their feeling that through this media our Church would be able present The Word of God to our community twenty four hours a day. They also envisioned people, in their automobiles who would be driving through our town, being able to hear of the work being done at Calvin and also be being spritually uplifted by hearing a short inspirational message. It was felt by those who were putting together this venture, that a short message concerning the upcoming events in our Church would be given by Cynthia Mulligan, a very talented member of our congregation, followed by, Reverend Hepler who would give a brief inspirational message.
On October 12, 2004, the idea of the radio station was presented to the session of our Church in which they gave their unanimous approval to have this ministry get underway. On November 26, 2004, the station was on the air with its first broadcast.
Since the station has a very limited range it was decided to put these messages on our Church website so that others, living beyond the broadcast range, would also be able to hear them. To hear the most recent messages, click on the appropriate buttons located under the above photos.
